Blackjack Trainer vs CVCX
CVCX is desktop simulation software from QFIT that runs billions of hands and reports betting ramps, risk numbers, and game comparisons. Blackjack Trainer is a free web app with graded courses, a training table, a betting calculator, and Ranked Play, plus a paid tier for the other counting systems, the trip planner, the Coach, and the session logbook.

What they have that we don't
CVCX is a simulator first, and it runs at a scale we do not. A CVCX run covers billions of hands where our published configs stop at 20M rounds and in-browser custom runs at 2M. It exposes far more options: dozens of counting systems, side bets, and rule knobs we do not model. CVData produces 250-page reports and ships 150,000 canned sims. If you need a custom sim of an unusual game with an unusual spread, CVCX is the tool.
What we have that they don't
CVCX estimates back-counting departure. We deal out every observe, enter, exit, and abandon decision, and the methodology page says so. The engine models full-loss ENHC and double restrictions, with charts, Courses, and curated Euro and Reno grids for all eight systems. The betting calculator and strategy charts are free and their method is published. Beyond the math, we teach: graded Courses with EV-priced mistakes, a training table, EV Delta on every decision, Ranked Play against a server-held shoe, and a logbook that compares each session's result with its expected value.
Who should pick which
Pick CVCX if you want to run your own simulations with many options and you are fine with a Windows program at $95 one-time, or $180 for CVData (2026-09-12). Pick Blackjack Trainer if you want the standard betting math, back-counting, and ENHC numbers in a browser for free, and courses, training, and a logbook around them, with the paid tier at $39/year (2026-09-12). Some counters will use both. Neither changes the odds of the game.
