This site teaches blackjack because it is a deep game with real math in it, not because playing it for money is a sound financial idea. It is not. Here is everything a gambling site should tell you.

The house always has the edge

Even with perfect basic strategy, the best any non-counter can do, the casino keeps about half a percent of everything you bet, and several percent more from players who guess. No betting pattern, streak system, or intuition changes this. Every “system” that claims otherwise is rearranging losses. Skill in blackjack means losing as little as possible, and that is worth learning. But the long-run price of playing is permanent and mathematically guaranteed.

If you play for money

Decide what a session may cost before you sit down, treat it as the price of entertainment, and never chase losses. The math of “winning it back” is the same math that took it. Set time limits as well as money limits. Never gamble with money you need, borrow to play, or gamble to fix how you feel. Wins are variance, not proof that a system works. Losses are variance plus the edge.

Warning signs worth taking seriously

Gambling more than planned, hiding play from people close to you, chasing losses, gambling with rent or borrowed money, feeling restless or irritable when not playing, or gambling to escape problems. If any of that sounds familiar, talk to someone, earlier than feels necessary.

In the UK, GamCare is at gamcare.org.uk or 0808 8020 133. Most jurisdictions offer self-exclusion programs that ban you from casinos at your own request. They work.

What this site does about it

Everything here is free and uses practice money only. We never take wagers, never link to casinos, and never earn a commission from your losses. Our trainer exists to teach the math, including the part where the math says the house wins. If you are under 18 (or 21, depending on your jurisdiction), this site's educational content is fine for you. Real gambling is not, and it is illegal besides.
