Basic Strategy Course
Basic strategy is a solved problem. For every hand against every dealer upcard there is one mathematically best play, the way 7 × 8 has one answer. Every 'I always stand on 16' and 'never split when the dealer's hot' at a blackjack table is someone disagreeing with arithmetic and paying for it. This course teaches you the why behind each region of the chart, then has you prove it in graded Checkpoints. Navigation is free. Skip what you know; the checkmarks keep score.
One thing to understand before lesson one: basic strategy is pass/fail, and the bar is 100%. Playing most of it correctly is not a milder version of correct play. Every cell you get wrong is a permanent leak. If you ever want the edge that card counting offers, know that counting earns about 1% in good conditions, and sloppy strategy gives away that much on its own. A counter with 90% basic strategy is not 90% of a counter. They are a slightly cheaper losing player. The chart is the entry fee. This course exists to get you to 100%, and our expected-value engine grades every Checkpoint, with mistakes priced per $100 bet.
